I discovered Dr. Okaroha by searching the internet--I felt very blessed to have discovered this exceptional Surgeon. I decided to go to him because of his sports background in treating athletes. The athete typically is not your normal patient and it takes a Specialist just as Doctor O to understand the unique and sometimes complicated injuries the young athletes experience.
My Son, who is a kicker, had sustained a injury to Labrum in the right hip. I had gone to a number of Specialist/Surgeons and it seemed everyone we sought professional advice from wanted to send my son to a Physical Therapist. I am a devout believer in rehab, but some things just need to be handled a a slightly more aggressive medical procedure, such as surgery. We always consider surgery as a last resort.
After surgery, my Son began a intensive rehab program which he coodinated and oversaw. With the efforts of his rehab regimine and a skilled Physical Therapist in our local town my Son was on the way to recovery. He is now back to kicking and things seem to be progressing well.
Not only was the professional demeanor exceptional but his entire staff treated us with the upmost kindness, respect and genuine concern for my Son's needs both before surgery and after. I have never experienced a more professional medical team. In the future if I should need some further medical assisance I will seek out Dr. Okoroha.
